1. Who we are (Controller)
Forge is operated by the Seller identified on our Contact page — a sole proprietor (ФОП) registered in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of your personal data.
We process personal data under Ukraine's Law “On Personal Data Protection” and, for visitors in the EU/EEA, the GDPR.
2. Data we collect
Account data you provide (name, email, password hash); content you create within Forge; technical/usage data collected automatically (IP address, device and browser type, interaction logs).
Payment data is processed by WayForPay on its own secure pages — we never receive or store your full card number.
3. How we use your data
To provide and improve the service, authenticate you, process subscriptions and payments, ensure security, comply with our legal obligations (including Ukrainian accounting and tax record-keeping), and communicate with you about your account.
4. Legal bases
Performance of our contract (the Public Offer), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent (e.g. analytics cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing & subprocessors
We share data only with processors that help us run Forge: our hosting/VPS provider; WayForPay (payment processing); Google and GitHub (optional OAuth sign-in); our email/SMTP provider (transactional email); and Google Analytics (only with your consent).
We never sell your personal data. All processors are bound to protect it.
6. International transfers
Our servers are located in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention
We retain your data while your account is active and afterwards only as long as required to provide the service or to meet legal obligations — in particular, primary accounting documents are retained for the period required by Ukrainian law.
8. Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, in the EU/EEA, your local supervisory authority.
